What we are doing:

1. Craigslist - We do not advertise our homes on Craigslist. We love Craigslist as a service, but unfortunately we have noticed too many scammers post their homes here; so we have chosen NOT to post our available homes on Craigslist.
   
2. Watermarks - all our property photos will have our company watermark on them. This makes it difficult for scammers to 'scrape' and re-post.
   
3. Website - all our available listings will also be listed on our website.
   
4. Showings - We will never send you a lease (and never accept payment from you) without you viewing the property first.
   

What you can do:

1. Never sign a lease or pay any money without actually viewing the property first.
   
2. Search the internet for other listings for that same address to confirm both Rent Amount and Landlord Contact Information match.
   
3. Flag/Report the scam listing to the site (e.g. Craigslist or FB Marketplace.)
   
4. Contact the actual landlord/owner to notify them of the issue.
